Botanical Dye Muslin Scarves

Earthy botanical colours from nature captured in these light and breezy organic cotton muslin scarves.

Soft and light to wear, these pieces make a versatile addition to your wardrobe, transitioning smoothly between the seasons.

Locally dyed-by-hand - a slow, multi-step process of preparing the fabric and extracting dye colour - each scarf is unique, as no two dye pots are the same, irregularities in texture, variegations in colour with frayed edges are part of their natural, handmade charm. 

A range of autumnal colours to choose from in this collection - dyed with Cherry Ballart, Madder, Onion, Rooibos, Cutch and Myrobalan.

Scarves measure approx 135cm long x 105cm wide.

Natural colours evolve over time, as all things in nature do. Exposure to sun hastens the process. Scarves can be refreshed with a plant-based dye bath or eco-print.

CARE: Occasional hand-wash only, very gently, in cold water. Dry in shade. Some colour run-off possible.

I do my best to represent colours accurately, naturally dyed textiles reflect different tones and depths of colour in different lights. Please allow for variations with different screens and monitors.
