Vintage Crinoline Lady Brooch Thomas L Mott

Vintage Crinoline Lady brooch from Thomas L. Mott in Birmingham. 

Brooch features hand-painted picture mounted under glass with guilded frame creating a miniature portrait. 

Intricate detail in the painting the result of using paintbrushes with only one or two fine hairs, T.L. Mott produced these collectables Crinoline Ladies range in the 1930s-1950s. Marked on the reverse with Thomas L. Mott trademark - TLM and ' Made in England'. 

Brooch measures 55mm x 42mm, fastens with a secure roll-over type clasp. 

Very good vintage condition.
