Unique ceramic brooch with Katherine Wheeler's intricate hand-painted feather detail inspired by moth and butterfly wings.
Organically hand-formed in fine white porcelain with washes of colour, painted detail and with touches of 24ct gold lustre highlight.
This smaller piece measures approx 33mm wide x 40mm tall, and can be worn on any angle - perhaps reversed as a heart.
Perfect for holding light scarves and clothing in place, or a simply beautiful piece on it's own.
Fired to high temperatures to ensure their strength, these pieces will withstand normal wear and tear, but will most likely not survive being dropped on a hard surface. They can be gently washed in warm soapy water, with no abrasives.
