With their delicate texture, natural silk sea sponges provide a mild exfoliation, ideal for every day use.

Silk sponges measure approximately 7cm long and are bleached. As products of nature shapes and size vary and may be different to those pictured.

These sponges are collected through traditional sponge diving and harvesting methods. Historically, sponges were primarily sourced from the Mediterranean, this has expanded to Florida (USA), the Bahamas and Cuba, where local communities are actively involved in the collection and supply of sea sponges. In addition, smaller fishing communities in parts of the Pacific Basin also rely on sponge harvesting as a key source of income.
