Beautifully rustic and textural, handwoven natural hemp placemats - a unique, artisanal and eco-friendly textile accent for your natural home.
Strong and durable, breathable and long-lasting, yet fully biodegradable, hemp is one of the most sustainable fibres in the world.
Growing wild in Nepal, free from chemicals and nurtured by natural rainfall, hemp is harvested, spun and woven locally using centuries-old techniques, supporting local villagers economically while promoting harmony with nature.
These generous sized placemats feature raw, natural (undyed) hemp, backed and stitched with natural fabric, with subtle tassel fringe on two edges.
Sold individually, placemats measure approx 33cm x 50cm.
Care Instructions: Hand wash gently in cool water. Lay flat to dry. Softens over time with use.
Being handmade and a natural fibre yarn, slight variations in colour and texture are to be expected and considered part of it's beauty, not a flaw.
