Handwoven Senkapa Wrap Bracelets

Traditional wrap-around bracelets  – Peruvian senkapas – are considered a token of gratitude.

Handwoven on backstrap looms by villagers near Cusco in the Andes Mountains, using all locally sourced alpaca and sheep wool and natural dyes. 

With intricate white beading, the bracelet wraps several times around the wrist, fastening with open ties at each end, for an earthy stacked look. 

Senkapas measures approx 105-120cm long, each piece has individual variations.
