Handwoven Hemp Fabric Natural

A raw, handwoven hemp fabric, perfect for small-scale textile projects.

Soft, textural fabric, in un-dyed cream-white, slightly speckled, colour.

Hemp is grown by Hmong tribeswomen, dried, stripped, pounded, boiled and spun before being strung on an old wooden loom and woven into fabric.

Measures approx 48cm wide.

Sold by the 1/2 metre - price is per 1/2 metre. If you order more than 1/2 metre you will receive one length.

Please note: there is slight darkening on one selvedge side of part of the fabric, this is considered part of the handmade process and not a flaw.

Hand wash in warm water recommended.
