Unique sculptural wearable art pieces, combining ceramic and crochet, locally handmade by Katherine Wheeler.
Organically hand-formed in fine stained porcelain, little baskets feature crochet detail around the rim, blending into the long cotton chain cord.
Two designs to choose from:
Blue : ceramic basket measures approx 3cm diameter at top and 3cm tall
Pastel : ceramic basket measures approx 2.5cm diameter at top and 3cm tall
Light to wear, basket pendants hang on crochet cord measuring approx 75-77cm long - the perfect long length to enjoy these amulet style pieces.
Fired to high temperatures, these pieces will withstand normal wear and tear but will most likely not survive being dropped on a hard surface.
