A lovely way to introduce children to Australian birdlife, the Beach Birds game consists of 48 cards - 4 sets of 12 designs depicting different native birds commonly found in beaches, estuaries and other coastal areas.
The high quality, large format, satin finish cards, measuring 9 x 13cm, come presented in a sturdy two piece box - a compact size handy for taking on holiday journeys or sending as a gift overseas.
Included are instructions on how to play a number of different games, such as Go Fish (Go Birding!), Snap and Memory Games, as well as encouraging players to invent their own games with the cards. There are also four info cards with details about each bird.
The illustrations are all created from Bridget's dry point etchings which have been hand coloured with watercolour paints.
