Lovely hoop earrings capturing striking botanical cyanotype sun prints.
Handmade in South Australia, these lightweight stainless steel hoop earrings feature reproductions of original cyanotype artworks transferred onto a wooden base and set with resin to give them a shiny gloss finish.
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process invented in 1842, where an emulsion is painted onto paper and exposed to the sun producing a rich cyan-blue print with white silhouette imagery.
Earring pendants measure 2.5cm wide with a total hang of 4cm and come presented in a white card gift box.

CARE: Do not get earrings wet. Resin may discolour if exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures for a long period.
