Printed on heavy weight paper made from agricultural waste, these art prints are reproductions from original botanical monoprints. Alicia begins her process by walking in nature, foraging for plants to print with before returning to her studio to load up the flower press. Once the flowers, leaves and ferns are pressed she inks up the plants using traditional printmaking techniques. The end result, is a hand crafted print capturing a contact print from the real plant. Alicia then digitalises her originals to create a series of affordable art prints and botanical greeting cards.
Printed on off-white recycled paper, 295gsm, colours may vary slightly between batches. Packaged in a biodegradable sleeve with a backing board.
