Hemptique Craft & Garden Hemp Cord Ball

$35.00

Big ball of thick, natural hemp cord for a multitude of craft and gardening uses.

Hemptique's #100 hemp cord is strong, durable, oil-free, biodegradable, UV-resistant, soft and easy to use.

The round nature of hemp makes it ideal for garden projects, easy to work with and doesn't cut hands or plants. Hemp is naturally weather-resistant and biodegradable. Perfect for training vines, supporting plants, securing netting and branches, bundling vegetables, tree wrapping, marking rows, DIY trellis, securing tomatoes, kokodama, rustic décor and more.

Hemp is the world's strongest natural plant fibre and has high tensile strength, resisting stretching and breaking.

100% hemp / 2.5mm thick / 100 metres long

What's great about growing Hemp:
An extremely fast growing crop, hemp produces more fibre yield per acre than any other source. Added to this environmental benefit, hemp leaves the soil in excellent condition for any succeeding crop. Roots anchor and protect the soil from runoff, building and preserving topsoil and subsoil structures similar to those of forests. Plants shed their leaves all through the growing season, adding rich organic matter to the topsoil and helping it retain moisture. Farmers have reported excellent hemp growth on land that had been cultivated steadily for nearly 100 years.
