Sisal Classic Earrings

Make a statement in these eye catching earrings while showcasing Tintsaba's classic tight woven sisal basketry.

Fair trade, supporting women artisans to provide a better way of life for their families and communities in rural Swaziland.

Using a fine coiling technique, jewellery is woven from sisal, a fibre made from the agave plant which originated in Mexico and was introduced to Africa for the fibre. Prior to weaving it must be stripped, cleaned and spun by hand, a very labour intensive task.

Hanging from hypo-allergenic silver plated copper French hooks, pendants are 40mm diameter with a total hang of 60mm.

Choose from rich royal blue or funky aqua.
