Geo Explorer Kit
A cool kit for your budding young geologist, all the components to engage in an archeological dig.
Each kit contains a hand-formed 'rock', along with a handmade hammer and chisel to carve away and reveal the hidden treasures inside.
Within the rock are five types of Australian gems and minerals - rhodonite, micaceous schist, serpentine, beryl and opal. Detailed identification cards enhance the learning experience.
The hammer and chisel are hand-carved from fallen poplar and plum fruit tree branches finished with lavender beeswax polish. Measuring approximately 20cm long, the hammer has a smooth Tasmanian Oak handle. Lovely additions to a small person's tool box.
- 5 rock/crystal varieties set inside a solid 'rock' made from sand, soil and plaster
- handmade wooden hammer
- handmade wooden chisel
- information cards to learn about each stone
- 'how to use' instruction sheet
Each component is handmade and may vary from those pictured.
Recommended for ages 6+ depending on ability and supervision.
Contains small parts, keep away for babies and toddlers. Rocks may have sharp edges, care should be taken to avoid breathing dust, we suggest wearing eye safety protection whilst digging.
